it really depends on how much longer you will be rebuilding, i don't have a problem with trading Najee for the picks regardless of when you are contending again, I don't think Mitch was wrong about anything he said, I just don't have any more faith in Najee being relevant in 26 or 27 than I do the 1.12, and I know you didn't ask this but I'm going to share my opinion anyway, cause I can't know when to shut up sometimes, if it was going to be 2027 or later to compete I would trade the 1.01 for a younger veteran elite receiver, or multiple draft picks, and shoot for at least one 26 first and 27 first to go with the other first, second, third round picks you trade for, RBs are just to unstable, to try to rebuild around, injury and trade are the norm, so their shelf life is much shorter, on average than other positions, and IMO should be the last thing you address in a rebuild, get your other positions in shape and you can safely sit on them for awhile in case you aren't ready to compete as soon as you had hoped, good luck this season man, and I hope it works out for you no matter how you play it
