LFG Neal! I drafted this guy in the 3rd (Dynasty) and have been patiently waiting for him to get an opportunity. 💥

Bottom line this is the Saints, even if Kamara went down this guy ain’t no league winner

Kamara has sort of cemented his role as lead back for now because he (or the remainder of his $10m salary cap hit for 2025) effectively can’t be traded.
If Devin does get Kendre’s workload, which is certainly possible now that playoff hopes are tarnished, then he could earn the RB1 role slowly over the second half of the season.
Kamara is signed with the Saints thru the 2026 season, but it seems likely he will retire at the end of the 2025 season—further lending to the need to get Devin Neal some reps to help transition a new RB1.
Stash Neal for now. Wait for 8-12 rushes in a non-blowout game, then he begins to light up the fantasy boards.

It’s true that he’s not a prospect that jumps out as a future star.
However, he’s a patient, consistent runner that pass blocks well and catches the ball well. He’s as Kamara as they come and I think he’s a shot to impress with his vision and smart plays.

He’s a closer player to Kamara. It’ll take time but I think he’ll work out

I have Ollie rn, but I’ve been a fan of Neal’s gameplay from college. I am afraid to drop Ollie bc of paper ankles Achane but at the same time Kamara doesn’t have much in the tank anymore so I see a lot of upside w Neal. Who ya going w?
