Browns Trying to Develop Shedeur Sanders "Very Intentionally"
Hot Takes

Gabriel and Sanders are different QBs, and have very different gameplans. It's better for Sanders to remain the <#3> and then get elevated to <#1> when it's time. He'll be running the scout team against the top defense every wk, and wouldn't be thrown into a bad situation mid game. A change at the bye would give Gabriel 4 games to prove himself, and Shadeur 2 weeks to prepare

It’s clear they view Sheduer as the franchise QB and Gabriel as a rookie bridge QB and are trying to build trade value of Gabriel.

As someone who is holding the sanders bag, it’s best for his long term success to be slowly developed. Not that the browns have a good track record of doing so….but if he got rushed out there it would only hurt him

Damn the browns might actually be trying to not do browns things

Why is he expected to see the field? They have another rookie QB they drafted ahead of him that’s currently starting.
