Wouldn’t a suspension more likely come at the beginning of next season? They usually don’t throw down a suspension until the criminal case concludes. I figure the Browns would exploit this scenario to bump his signing bonus down etc, then use the crap out of him his rookie year to get their worth in case he does time later on. Now idk if this is a smart move, and more than that, if it is a smart move, you never know if the Browns would do it even if it was. They’ll probably find a way to do it badly.
