It's the Trevor Lawrence effect. He's a ball spreader. Mac Jones locks onto a receiver or two. Much easier to project the pecking order with Jones.
Even though Mayfield played in the same system last year, he locks onto a couple of receivers as well.
So, if Hunter has either of those options for QB, he'd be better off once he gains experience.
