Oh, Rico Dowdle ran and ran,
He ran past every single man!
He ran through tackles, jumped a pile,
He made my Sunday worth the while!
The points they came, they came in heaps,
My app went ding!—I lost no sleep!
Thirty points! Oh mercy me,
He carried my whole fantasy!
The haters laughed, “You started who?”
But Rico said, “Just watch what I do!”
He zoomed and zapped, he dashed with flair,
He scored again (and flipped his hair).
Now on my team he shines so bright,
My bench looks up at him in fright.
From waiver wire to touchdown town,
Rico wore the scoring crown!
So here’s to Rico, bold and spry,
Who made my rivals scream “Oh my!”
For in Week Ten, on turf so green,
