I’ll say this: In dynasty, having a TE you can guarantee 12+ points each week is so vital to being a contender each year. This guy is the definition of reliable. He’s a player you don’t go out and trade for because his ceiling is too low (Only has three 25+ point games in his career. His highest scoring game is 30.3 and he’s only scored 20+ points 9 times in 4 seasons, even worse only 7 TDs in 53 games played). You have to get lucky enough to have him on the team and he starts to give you that confidence of taking risks in other positions because you can count on TE slot being solid
