that's just what happens with preexisting injury, youre more susceptible to injuries, as your body will compensate for the still recovering ankle, they should've just brought him back at least 5-8 weeks later than they did and still he would be vulnerable to a certain extent, injuries of that severity dont heal to 100 percent for years, and most the time they never heal perfectly.
