Wright kicked for six different teams over the past five seasons, never appearing in more than 14 games for any one franchise and not lasting more than four games at a time for any team since 2021. He's made 87.3 percent of his career field-goal attempts and 95.3 percent of PATs, hinting at potential to hold down a job long term if someone gives him a chance. The Panthers may do just that, as they didn't have any other kickers on the roster as of early May. They'll presumably add someone to compete with Wright before training camp.
