The Commanders took a risk back in 2021, selecting Davis in the first round after he had just one season as a full-time starter in college but put up incredible numbers at the combine. His 4.47 speed and 42-inch vertical jump haven't been much use in the pros, with Davis struggling both in pass coverage and against the run. He's been better as a blitzer, but now he's looking at a big reduction in snap count after the Commanders signed LBs Bobby Wagner and Frankie Luvu this offseason. Davis doesn't figure to get much playing time in nickel packages if Wagner and Luvu are healthy.
