Powell saw extensive action last season in three-wide sets when Justin Jefferson missed two-plus months with a hamstring injury. His 407 offensive snaps were a career high and he caught 29 of 44 targets for 324 yards and one touchdown while adding five carries for 17 yards. His primary role beforehand was as Minnesota's punt returner. The departure of K.J. Osborn (New England) in free agency leaves Powell as a candidate for the No. 3 receiver role. He'll compete against Jalen Nailor and Trent Sherfield in training camp for the job and likely retain punt return duties.
