Because I project him to be a Conner handcuff right now, whereas McConkey steps right into the WR1 position

I don’t think it takes Benson long to take over in ARZ or at least be 55%+ of the committee. People are falling in love with Ladd and just totally ignoring his meh analytical profile and the fact he had a less than impressive output at UGA.

I love Ladd - and what a spot for him to land with his target competition being Joshua Palmer - QJ sucks and Harbaugh has no loyalty to him wasnt his terrible pick

Definitely a good spot on that regard for sure. Be interesting to see how much LAC passes.

Ladd is just walking instantly into a massive amount of targets - they have no RB on the roster with a history of being used in passing game, no TE worth mentioning, and QJ and Palmer at WR - he’s going to be a target hog and who else you going to to pick up first downs

So I’m don’t think it’s a given he’s going to immediately walk in and beat everyone out. He 100% could, but I don’t think it’s a slam dunk either.
