This might be it. I love this game so much but the mental toll I take every week is bad for me. Maybe I’m too competitive. Idk what to do I want to play this game and I’m good at it but every week it seemed that world lines up against me. I’m down bad, really bad.

We can be better prepared. We can be more knowledgeable. Then a sprained ankle occurs or whatever weird circumstances and we’re back to the elements of good and bad luck. Once you realize how to enjoy the hits and laugh at the bad luck misses you can have a mentally healthy and even fun time with fantasy. Keep the buy ins to an enjoyable amount you don’t care about winning or losing and ride the roller coaster

I know me saying try not to take it so hard is no help, but try, and know that it's coming back around, the only thing I know for sure is the world keeps turning, Happy New year

@klebdothejig I felt the same way many times. I had to learn to accept that fantasy football is a form of gambling. It’s not as crazy as true gambling, but in the end we’re just starting players/betting on their outcomes.

It’s just better when you accept that you are not good or bad at fantasy. You are just more prepared or less prepared than opponents and luck always maintains its prominent role

I felt like that too until I realized even the worst beats happen to everyone - it's not just you Even though it can seem like that. Unbelievable things happen and over time you'll get both sides of the coin
