Interesting that DMRussini is the only one saying it though. Yesterday Rapport and Pellesero both said it was a long shot and Rodgers was the one interested

Truth is that JJ is coming off an ACL tear and has hardly practiced with the team. It makes sense for Rodgers or another veteran to start while JJ gets his legs under him — and if they veteran QB suck, McCarthy will be under center soon enough
