Browns and DE Myles Garrett agreed to a contract extension that averages $40M per year and includes $123.5M GTD Garrett is now the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history, per @AdamSchefter
Should’ve signed with the Shanghai Sea Turtles heard they offered him 126m Guaranteed and 41 Million per year over 6 years
So many different priorities in this League. Honestly surprising for a guy who already has so much money to not take a bit of a cut to go to a contender
Wow... I guess you'll stay with a team that will never win for money. Which is fine. I guess.
the rest of the team must be volunteers
See, it’s about the money, not championships for some. lol
A force to be reckoned with on the field, but off the field he is all bark no bite
Too old and overpaid in nfl history
So much for wanting to win lol
Insanity
He deserves to lose and stay with the browns forever.
Browns owner was not about to let their best player walk out the door like Saquon did with the Giants 😅
LFGggggggggggggg
Bro what the heck
What an idiot
Something happened. Besides the money, he could get that anywhere. It will leak this week
Wow
Guess the championship really wasn’t that important to him
Both sides are fools. You go from wanting to compete for a championship to keeping yourself there for the rest of your career. He could have been paid well elsewhere.
wow I dont get it
I thought he wanted to go to a competitive team; oh wait money talks
WOOF WOOF WOOF
Soul for sale
garret wilson going to have to play all positions on both sides of the back. it's going to be him vs. the NFL.
Browns making other teams GMs & owners drop f-bombs as they completely re-set the Defensive player market just as they did with the QB market a few years back when they signed D. Watson to the ridiculous contract they gave him. At least Garrett is a helluva player. But $40 million per is one injury away from being another albatross financially for a team, whose fans have suffered enough.
