WITHERSPOON ICE IN HIS VEINS

YuSefRayford 3 months ago

No not anymore

YuSefRayford 3 months ago

Simultaneous is a thing now....

YuSefRayford 3 months ago

Ball can touch the ground and the receiver can have two hands on it. That's a catch now as long as the ball isn't moving....and the ball wasn't moving so it's deemed possessed

TurtleRancher 3 months ago

The whole what is a catch, what is not a catch came from the NFL covering up a blown call in the 1999-00 NFC Championship game where Bert Emmanuel caught a ball that they called incomplete and cost the Bucs the game.

L0neW01f3773 3 months ago

@kylecarter I would personally say this is a catch, by I am going off the nfl rule book, and what has been called in previous games. I don’t care what way the want to call that, they just need to be consistent. If one player catches a pass like that and they call it incomplete, then when someone else does it it should also be incomplete

YuSefRayford 3 months ago

The old rule...ground can't cause a fumble but can cause an incomplete pass is jaded now....it's not cut an dry

YuSefRayford 3 months ago

What am I missing?!?

TurtleRancher 3 months ago

The rule is so long as the receiver has the ball and it doesn’t move during the catch - including hitting the ground - it’s a catch. It’s a dumb rule, but it has been the rule for 20+ years.

@YuSefRayford I think anyone who knows anything about football can agree that was pi

L0neW01f3773 3 months ago

@kylecarter I ain’t trying to hate, just hate it when the refs change up the rules for different games, I think that was a catch, but I’ve seen multiple other times when players do that and it is called incomplete, I just want consistency

fuck LA my team cardinal need s to win just for us hey

TurtleRancher 3 months ago

Btw - not a Rams fan - I’m a Bucs fan, who saw the Bucs cheated out of going to their first SB because of that BS ruling on Bert. Because of that ruling the NFL covered up the blown call by creating this nonsense version of the rule - but that rule means it was an INT tonight.
