Why wouldn’t they resign him? He’s proving himself. The rookie they drafted hasn’t done nothing to cave on Darnold. This is Darnold team now.

They have a cheaper cap option in JJ. I think they either trade him for a first which is unlikely or let Darnold walk. They have a QB whisperer as a head coach and great weapons so they’re similar to San Francisco with if you’re at least competent as a QB you’ll be good in that system.
Being a Packer fan, I hate the Vikings and even I can say that they absolutely need to bring this guy back and give him a light bag to reward his play. They are nowhere without him.
