Chat room 💬 What does Sam Darnold have to do in order to get a contract extension with Minnesota?
See if there is any willing trade partners for their first round pick qb from last year.
Get a viking beard
🙂
Play a close NFCCG or go to/win the SB
He's done everything hes supposed to do. Minnesota better not get caught in the Peter Griffen mystery box situation. Mccarthy is hurt and unproven, Darnold has performed better than Kirk Cousins did for them
Look competent in the playoffs and keep his team around. If they lose and he balls out i find it hard to not see him back. He’s gonna have 35+ TDs and his weapons aren’t going anywhere. Should be able to sustain success in this system
We need to let him walk and build up online and defense imo
He’s already done it. They’d be foolish to get rid of him for an unproven rookie.
He just has to get a gang to destroy McCarthy
3PEAT
Be named JJ McCarthy
nothing
he's done enough already lmao
Has to win a playoff game
I mean he has to come back for cheap. That’s it if he wants to stay with the team for a 2 year 50 million total guaranteed contract that would be amazing but he’s earned his pay day and he should take it if that’s what he wants
Playoff win
Nothing he can’t
Be 6 years younger. One season doesn't make you a star. Ask Miami, Jacksonville and San Francisco how they feel about their QBs...
Nfc championship
Chip
Win a playoff game and don’t lose out
Win the SB
He can’t get an extension… The Vikings need to have their starting QB in a rookie deal or backup money to stay competitive and be able to sign CBs and a DT! He has done great though!
nothing Atlanta was thinking of having Michael Penixsit on the bench for 3 years or so before cousins crapped outso I really think he deserves at least a two-year extension JJ McCarthy may beat him out in training camp which I doubt but then they have a solid backup if McCarthy doesn't develop as expected early in the season
