All the other owners manage the cap by injecting their money into the equation. The cap is an excuse for cheap owners.

There was a time where he threw money at no name guys or guys who didn't pan out, was constantly over the cap, and pushing contracts and money down the line.

They were constantly in cap trouble... Now he has gone the opposite extreme and won't spend on free agents at all.
