For reference: Rice is going to civil court not criminal court in DEC. The (imo reasonable) fear is of an NFL suspension because he was so clearly at fault.

It may get pushed to next season to let the chiefs compete tho. In which case he could help you win. But he may also immediately get suspended following. No way to know
