these guys are professional athletes and train way more/harder/seriously than anyone does in the world. it’s not just a sport for them it’s their job.

my point being is that these guys can probably withstand and recover from a lot worse than the average person could

look at Rodger’s Achilles tear last year. he almost came back at the end of the season. he said himself he probably would have if they were to make the playoffs. and he’s 40!!!

my buddy got one playing football a couple years ago and never fully recovered from it. not saying rodger’s is fully recovered.

my buddy tore is acl and was barely able to do anything for almost 2 years. he was in the military, did kickboxing for years, and played football in HS

and he was only 19 when it happened

rodger’s barely runs anyways. the fact is that he was healthy in general. he was going to play the same season he tore his achilles.
