Does anyone here watch tape more in depth and can tell me what separates Omarion Hampton from Najee Harris? The way Hampton was running at the combine kind of reminded me of Najee. And if they have the same career that would suck at the 1.02-1.04 Any insights?

I've seen talking heads say he might end up being better than Jeanty 🤷

Don’t understand your comparison as to how he was running at combine - Hampton ran a 4.46 at 221 lbs - which is a 93rd percentile speed score and has 92nd percentile burst score - Najee ran a 4.57 which is slow

I dont get the Najee comp. he is a lot faster in terms of his testing.

@TIPS no doubt - “clickbait” and engagement hacks - im not interested in an article or podcast on why Jeanty is the 1.01 in rookie drafts - but a headline of why Hampton has closed the gap or could go ahead of Jeanty will get the clicks

Only thing in this thread I have a credible opinion about is, tune out any and all professional football talk between January and April. Don’t read articles, don’t listen to ESPN, don’t tune into fantasy podcasts. Just tune it all out. Anything you give attention to in that time frame will destroy your objectivity, even if you choose not to. Find a good news blurb site that doesn’t infuse rumors, absorb that (for ALL positions, including defense), and do nothing else. I actually find my best preparation information here (or a forum similar to this). Gauging perception of actual real life players on the average is invaluable and can’t really be gotten anywhere else. Once I do my own research of rookies right around draft time, I overlay those perceptions and look for the targets in all rounds
