10 tm .5 PPR 1QB (2 part question): A. JSN and 1.02 B. BTJ and JT BTJ or Nabers in this format given QB situations?
B easily. And still Nabers
B and Nabers
Additional context is im not really competing due to depth so at some point im gunna have tk capitalize on JT
I want A - and I like Nabers
If youre needing to retool Id be all for selling JT, Im just not using young top 10 dynasty WRs to do that. And this trade doesnt create more depth unless you split those assets as well. So Id look to trade JT but not this kind of deal. BTJ and Nabers are building blocks
B and Nabers
B and Nabers for sure
B and Nabers
B BTJ upside over JSN is not a comparable thing to me. I think I would just try to trade JT for a higher draft pick as well. And it's BTJ not Nabers. I want a guy with TD upside. Nabers target total Is not sustainable, and the TD upside is way too high with BTJ as well as they've already said he's going to be the focal point of this offense. If this was a bigger league other than a 10-man I would say Nabers possibly, but being a 10 Man I need that TD upside
I’d also agree, I’d take B and trade JT, maybe even for JSN
If it doesn’t make sense, then I’d plan for a rebuild year. I’m generally very much about building until my frame is so strong that when I make my move to compete, it’s almost a lock. Not just for this year, but years to come. I don’t try to win leagues. That’s easy and all it takes is luck. I try to own leagues, and have a very regimented approach to doing it. It has yet to fail me.
But one very key part of it is knowing as early as possible that I plan to build rather than compete, cuz it totally changes my approach and allows me to take advantage of many price fluctuations on players. There are times that I plan to build, get lucky and find myself competing, but I prefer that waaaaaaayyyy more than planning to compete, get unlucky and not have the framework to adapt and now I finish middling (likely using up resources to force it).
If you are hurting for RB, I'd take A side and draft a RB. I'm so high on JSN this year. I love BTJ and Nabers too, but you need a RB and I'm not sure how many peak years JT has yet. Take the second RB in a very good RB crop.
