What’s y’all’s thoughts on MHJ and Rome Odunze going into 2025.
Not really a hot take anymore post Ben Johnson hiring, but I was saying Rome is a must buy low candidate since November. Personally I feel better about him than I do MHJ
Still think MHJ has a ton of value, but you’d still have to spend a lot to get him. Also I think Kyler is a fraud and hate that MHJ is tied to him.
Buying both of them now is buying the talent that everyone sold their souls for last year at a much smaller price. Thing is though, nothing has changed about them except that they weren’t one of the handful of WRs in history that hit big as rookies (yet somehow the NFL has had oodles of top end WR talents).
MHJ is good and I think Rome will take off
Great buys. They were both better than Tet in college.
I think they will both improve from last year, and I agree that they are good buys right now, it's crazy how managers will sell everything for the 1.01, because they believe the hype and when the players don't meet the unreasonable expectations, they sell them just as fast because now they suck, lol, my opinion of MHJ, and Odunze hasn't changed, they are going to be must start recivers and they both have number one overall potential, but I'm not spending on either one like they already are number one overall
Rome should be good with more volume with a play caller that will work to utilize his skill set best. MHJ I am still in on but play calling and his physicality within the route and at the catch poiont needs to improve given he lacks the athletic upside of guys like Nabers and BTJ. both are good buys at a reasonable price. I personally would not be buying now as the buy low window was in season
Would easily be buying MHJ. When Hartline talks, people should listen, but they frequently dont. MHJ will never be cheaper.
