If you have a 12 team dynasty and add a median in mid season , don’t you think the regular season finish should be the draft order finish ? Instead of the playoff finish ? That’s what’s the median for right ..

What I’m saying is that the regular season standings should be the draft order finish .

I mean that depends on what your league has agreed upon. non playoff team draft order should be inverse of standings 1 through 6. playoff teams should be based on rd eliminated and lower seed is higher, similar to how NFL does it.

so for example lets say team A and B lose in first rd of playoffs. Team A reg season record was 10-4 and B was 9-5. B would be draft order 7 and A is 8

then 9-12 are determined by next 2 rd finishes

that is usually the standard in most leagues so hope that helps

Adding a median to me seems almost like it changes everything. So why not change the way the draft order is?

so what are you complaining about? the top scoring teams get rewarded because of the median. so idk what the issue is

it rewards the top scoring teams with an extra win. nothing like be 2nd highest scorer on the week and facing top scorer. that is the whole point
