What does everyone think of Clyde Edwards helaire. I’ve seen him ranked as high as 1 in rookie England rankings and he actually has great receiving stats.
I’m just wondering if there is other hype out there

Clyde is a system running back.
5th best back agreed. He probably won’t be a feature back but very, very solid receiver to your point. I believe he had 50ish catches last year at LSU? Which is insane for college.
Yeah 55 and almost 500 yards. If you actually compare stats with swift his stats are a lot higher. But nick153 is right that he was on a great team so stats should be inflated. But what if he goes to a Kansas City
If he goes to KC, he jumps over everyone unless someone higher profile goes to TB. I also like him in Buffalo because the bills have been connected to running backs and, as a Singletary owner, I would’nt mind him there. I think they could both split the work and be effective
I’m also a singletary owner and would love if they spent a 5th rounder or lower on someone. I don’t want real talent there maybe an aj Dillon to take the big back role and leave the skill stuff to singletary

He profiles as a fine change of pace back but he’s not the workhorse that’s Taylor, Swift, Dobbins or Akers profiles as. It’s concerning that he did SQUAT before this season, ironically coinciding with the most prolific offense we’ve ever seen in college football. There’s a substantial drop from the top 4 to CEH
Rookie drafts non SF are probably going the big 4 backs followed by a long run of receivers. Meaning you can get him cheap and hope for a quick rise like Singletary.
