I’m planning to keep Adams. Got offered a trade where I get Hopkins too. But then I wouldn’t make my first pick until pick 31. If I don’t take the trade, I’d keep Adams and Diggs (7th rounder). Is giving up a third round pick to get Hopkins with it? Or is it better to keep Diggs and still have a pick at 11 and my third rounder? Here is what I’d have before and after the trade: After 17 Hopkins keeper 19 Adams keeper 31 RB 48 RB 58 ? 64 ? Before 11 RB 19 Adams keeper 27 RB 31 WR 43 RB 58 ? 67 Diggs keeper

If I trade for Hopkins, I’d keep Hopkins at 17 and keep Adams at 19. So I’d have no pick until 31 since I’d be trading pick 27. If I do NOT do the deal, I’d keep Adams then keep Diggs (lose my 7th rounder) but still have picks at 11 and 27 and 31. Which scenario is better?

I think dhop is worth both those picks tbh

If I do that, then my RB options at 31 and 48 would be like Jacobs, Ingram, KJ, Lindsay at 31 and then like James white, Drake, Coleman or Miller at 48.

Definitely top 2. Just worry that my RBs will be average.

But I won the league last year so might as well take a risk right?

If you can only keep 2 I’d keep Adams and have Diggs in the 7th. Then use your first rounder on a solid RB. Although what do you think would be available at the 11?

Best RB available at 11 I think would be Fournette, Mack, D Williams. Rest of top RBs will be kept plus cook and mixon likely drafted before 11.

Hmmm those aren’t very good for a first but I’d take Williams if you decide to do that, then grab Hyde in later rounds

But I’m a big fan of KJ so having Adams, Hopkins, and KJ sounds great if you can do that

If he’s there at 31 I’d take him. Just not sure if he would be. Just feel like Adams and diggs plus picks 11, 27 and 31 might be better than Adams, Hopkins and pick 31.

Well I’d take him or Jacobs over those other guys you mentioned in the first so if you don’t think you can get him with the 31 take him with the 11th and keep Adams and Diggs

Diggs in the 7th is a better keeper than Hopkins for the 17th

Projections for my league have Hopkins scoring an average of 3.1 points more or week.

That first is really like a 3rd with 20 players off the board. So value of Hopkins over diggs is greater than the player you could get between those two picks. He then gets to keep Hopkins and Adams so his keepers are set for the next few years. @ChillDown

That’s not necessarily true, people take value picks not necessarily their first picks nor does it mean their won’t be good players there. Also if that’s true that means his 3rd is like a 5th or 6th so it’s all relative

And I still think Diggs for a 7th is a way better value no matter how good Hopkins will be for giving up his first
