I recently had two year dynasty funds stolen from when a commissioner tricked me into asking for a refund then removed from a league and refused to issue it. Leaguesafe ridiculously pretends their hands are tied despite ample proof and authority to use their “sole discretion” I am asking anyone with a similar experience with LeagueSafe or Sleeper to DM and discuss what can be done about a company that holds millions of our dollars but does not even provide a phone number to discuss an issue like this that resulted in theft f entry fees.

However, I've always been the commissioner and always used the safe.

As a trustworthy and honest person, I believe it actually helps my leagues.

We had a similar experience recently. Old commish tried to screw everybody in the draft. He got mad and quit and I ended up taking over on both sleeper and leaguesafe. The funds were rolled over into 2024 already. But somehow he talked leaguesafe into rolling the entire $1200 back in to 2023 and then initiated a payout, taking two years of my fund from me and paying them to himself. Leaguesafe isn't really very safe if you're dealing with a shady commish.

What does, "tricked you into asking for a refund" mean?

You were tricked into requesting a refund from Leaguesafe? Did you recieve a refund? Then how was your money stolen? I have used Leaguesafe without any problems for a dozen leagues over the past 5 years, without any problem.

I don’t play with randoms anymore. Started a neighborhood league and using Venmo. It sucks but it’s the sleazy world we live in

I mentioned this before also; the only recourse you have in this spot is if you can get half your league members to side with you. Then you guys contact sleeper and leaguesafe and they’ll add a new commissioner for you if you submit proof they’re all on your side. But if the rest of the league isn’t on your side and the league’s payment deadline has passed there’s nothing you can do. It’s pretty black and white and unfortunately there’s still a degree of trust you do have to put on the commissioner (especially if the league usually sides with him). I don’t really have a similar story, I was just part of a league that voted out a commissioner. Altho ours wasn’t doing shady shit like this we just wanted him to be more active and less “my way or the highway”. He wasn’t trying to steal anyone’s money, I have no experience with that but I’ve been using leaguesafe for years. Their rules are pretty cut and dry. This is where it is helpful to leave reviews for commissioner’s on leaguesafe also. If everyone did this and checked it when joining, shady commissioners wouldn’t get away with it as much.
