“Antonio Brown was granted bail after a hearing this morning. Bond was set at $100K and he will be required to get GPS monitoring, release his passport and guns, go through drug and alcohol testing and a mental health evaluation, per @CameronWolfe.”
Good discussion^
@MyCrow great discussion brother. I’m always willing to engage in constructive conversation. I don’t try to attack of belittle anyone. Part of what makes America great is being able to voice our difference and often reach a middle ground. And hell like I said with the hockey it is what it is. I could have made it and had a career ending injury my first game too. I ended up alright, plus it’s fun to rip up men’s league when your in your early 30s not playing over 30 🤣.
But you are absolutely right, if I’m a kc fan I’m not getting my kid a hill jersey. I don’t want him to act anything like that.
That’s where the damn business side comes in. He’s good enough where they make excuses.
If he was a 3rd strong talent he’d be out of the league.
And it’s sad the nfl reverts to diversionary tactics with superstars.
They call it protecting the shield
It would be nice if they just did what most employers in America do, you get terminated.
Like if I get caught getting high at work, I’m done for ever
They aren’t held to the same standards the average citizen is.
Fame is an interesting power to have at your disposal.
Like believe me if my job told me I have to pay a small fine for getting caught smoking relative to my salary and a small suspension, I’m much less deferred to smoke pot than DONE FOR GOOD
As a pro athlete your job is simple, demanding, but simple. You train/prepare, you play and you don’t do anything stupid.
It’s amazing players cannot even abide by that.
This isn’t football news at this point it’s TMZ bullshit.
@cgills94 absolutely TMZ, although reiterated the fact not to draft AB for any reason next season.
They gotta post it here lol.
Although it’s debatable if we was coming back anyways.
He’s not coming back. He’s irrelevant at this point in my opinion.
Worth a speculative hold in deeper leagues?
Hopefully they took his phone away 😅
Dude must have mad CTE, he's definitely out of control.
@dbarz does your job rely on you getting hit over and over in your body and head by 200-400 lb men? I'd think you'd want some type of pain killer too, and weed just happens to be safe and cheap. Stop comparing your desk job to a competitive athlete that on average stays in the nfl for 3 years.
Relax Johnny, you act like they are forced to go play. The are choosing reward over risk. Of course they need the moneym we all need that money. I like The crow and Dbarz conversation. I have an example. Malik McDowell . 1st pick for the seahawks maybe 3 years ago. They talked about how he dropped in the draft due to an assault charge and or a domestic issue. My hawks draft him and weeks before practice he is trashed riding a quad. It almost turned him into a vegetable. That cost the Seahawks big time. The had just lost Michael Bennett, snd Cliiff Averill . A year or so later after he had recovered a little bit he was out and got pulled over and he was resisting arrest and was telling the police he was some famous football player. That guy was a beast. And he wasted it. He was at least as good as Frank Clarke. You are welcome @dbarz
