Again, Herbert is not elite he's not a tier 1 back, but he's a cheap back pending fa next year with no long term contract that like it or not would help Dallas. The dude had avg over 5ypc, and benched in Chicago for Swift & Johnson. Hes no messiah but shown plenty of times in the past he can play and has potential, that's what you go after when you're Dallas considering the upcoming draft class. If I was betting he'll not be traded the Vikings sent an offer and they wouldn't send him to someone they play.
