Again, Herbert is not elite he's not a tier 1 back, but he's a cheap back pending fa next year with no long term contract that like it or not would help Dallas. The dude had avg over 5ypc, and benched in Chicago for Swift & Johnson. Hes no messiah but shown plenty of times in the past he can play and has potential, that's what you go after when you're Dallas considering the upcoming draft class. If I was betting he'll not be traded the Vikings sent an offer and they wouldn't send him to someone they play. I understand most people only think good players are Breece, Bijan, Chase, and Lamb but I think you all need to start understanding how talented some players are that will never get the opportunity to play.

I get it Dowdle is your rb1 agree or disagree but don't be so diluted you think he's better than all these other guys, I can name a lot of players not starting that would push him and probably be better. It's sad I'm not even a fan of fucking Herbert but amazed at the people who don't watch football and pretend to know players. We're talking Rico Dowdle & Carson Steele vs a guy who was pushing Montgomery, does pretty damn well every single start, killed it last year when played, killed it in preseason and then benched for Travis Homer. I'd be pissed too.

yeahhh but looking into it ... it's all just pipe dreams and "hey the best teams for him to land" type articles. but you know they frame the headlines like there's been actual interest by the teams till you read them and see yeah the bears just gave him permission to look around.
