Although Adams' trade could potentially aid the Raiders' drafting stance, it's believed that team owner Mark Davis strongly desires for Adams to remain and mentor a young new quarterback. As valuable as Adams could be in a trade, the financial cost of moving the 11th-year veteran would be a hefty $23.6M in dead money, with scant savings to the team's salary cap.
