most recent report: In a statement, the NFL said it found "no evidence" to support Myles Garrett's allegation that Steelers QB Mason Rudolph used a racial slur before last Thursday's brawl. This presumably means the league combed through the available audio, which was likely abundant considering the number of mic'd up players. Rudolph's teammates leapt to his defense on Thursday, while Garrett's mostly declined to provide comment. It appears this will be the last we hear of the matter in an official capacity. Suspended through at least the end of the season, Garrett can apply for reinstatement in the winter.

If it turns out that Mason Rudolph did NOT use a racial slur. Myles Garrett's suspension should be INCREASED! The league has made it known that they do not take racism lightly and if Garrett was trying to use it as a crutch to gain leverage in his suspension appeal and it turns out to be a LIE. He should also be punished. It's just as bad to falsely accuse as it is to use the slanderous term
