New to fantasy basketball, in a 10 team dynasty league. Was wondering what the value of a 1st round rookie pick. In my startup earlier this year the first rookie was taking in the 7th round. Is this a good start on where to value the rookie 1.01, and what round/s are appropriate to value a rookie 1st round pick?

This draft was significantly worse than those of recent history. You have to value the picks more based on what the draft looks like. For example last year if you had 1.01 like me, wembenyama was worth a ton of value and 1.01 would have been worth maybe a second or third round pick in a startup. Maybe even a late first. But this years draft was so bad that even now none of the rookies besides jared mccain maybe could go any higher than where they did in your draft. So long story short, on average i think the 1.01 is typically worth like a borderline all star on average? But could go way up or down depending on league size and draft quality.
