Chat room 💬 Thoughts on the Rams extending Tutu Atwell for one year $10M? Too high or just right? 🤔

kamimuma 3 days ago

tutu was open deep a few plays last year and Stafford didn't even look his direction

kollins 3 days ago

Sleeper he will have a roll

Way to much money

kamimuma 3 days ago

But realistically jordan whittington has tons of potential so idk

Beeeeef 3 days ago

He fast but too little to compete on contested catches he has to beat the defender in a race

kamimuma 3 days ago

Tutu Atwell might hurt dat potential

AyAyNon 3 days ago

Half that.

For 1 year it's not bad. Not great, but $10m for draft flexibility is solid. Cap ceiling went up so $10m-per is the new $8m-per.

Nah bro rams don’t use speedy receivers correctly

ShawnPerkins 3 days ago

Whittington deserves more Reps and Tutu is great, but not even utilized. Unless McVay is convinced Whittington will be as good as blocking as Kupp n replace him

Jay1221 3 days ago

so what happen to kupp?

AyAyNon 3 days ago

Stafford kinda ruins his potential WRs contract value imo. His #1 gets 99% of the targets (exaggerated %)

Jay1221 3 days ago

what team did he go to?

broskiee 3 days ago

OH HELL NAH

BanquetBill69 3 days ago

Rather have spent that money on bringing in Adams or paying Kupp

i’m a rams fan and I watched every game last season. I can confidently say the team got fleeced

Blazii 3 days ago

definitely an interesting choice. Hope this means he will get a lot more usage this season.

I guess they will be looking to him to fill in Robinson's spot as the 3. His legal trouble probably keeps the Rams from bringing him back. Making sure you have capable receivers in the room is a priority

A twitchy player deserves a twitchy contract, which he got…though i wouldnt have given it to him

zbtwo 3 days ago

Guess that means DRob ain’t coming back as WR3

Would you guys want to add a RB in this year's draft? And if so, who? ⬇️🤔

Prediction: Devante Adams to the Rams.. I just feel it.. he wants to come out west.. who has the best coach on the west? stadium? QB? best chance at a SB ring? Rams… he’ll come in at WR2 with Puka at the 1 and tutu at the 3.. mixed J.Whitt.

Atwell, a 2021 second-round pick, was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but he'll instead return to Los Angeles on a fully guaranteed one-year, $10 million contract. Coming off a 2024 campaign in which he compiled a career-best 42-562-0 receiving line across 17 regular-season contests, the timing and guarantees of Atwell's deal signal that the Rams view him as a valued contributor on offense, especially in the context of Cooper Kupp's expected departure this offseason. With Demarcus Robinson still a pending unrestricted free agent, returning quarterback Matthew Stafford's top wideouts next season could feature a lineup of Puka Nacua, Atwell and Jordan Whittington.
