Never a penalty. Yes de ligt and maguire clipped him but he threw himself to the ground. De ligt is pulling his shirt and young is already falling face first into the ground

MaxOlafsson 21 hours ago

Where the penalty in this image?

Jboi1414 21 hours ago

when you watch the replay it is very clear that he was diving and there was never enough contact for him to go down in such a manner

rahul37 21 hours ago

idgaf how exaggerated he falls

rahul37 21 hours ago

Also, if it’s debatable they should not be overturned. In the other box, or Liverpool, city, Arsenal that’s a pen and no discussion.

petocci19 21 hours ago

Certainly there was not enough to overturn a given penalty

Didn’t watch. Soo he called no foul live but VAR said look and he stuck with no foul?

kieran2006 21 hours ago

he was by the penalty spot when he was pulled down and got pulled by the spot which means it a penalty and but var people don’t allow it but if they dint have var it would of bin allowed

Jboi1414 21 hours ago

love it when people get mad that the VAR that was created to review calls on the pitch reviews calls made on the pitch😭😭

ptocci23 21 hours ago

Problem is VAR is just another referee looking at screens the cameras can’t capture everything on the pitch

Jboi1414 21 hours ago

well in this situation there was a very clear view of what happened being shown

RedIsNotIt 21 hours ago

Probably a pen but too much simulation can cause that effect of making the contact look soft

Jboi1414 21 hours ago

very ture

Jboi1414 21 hours ago

true

ahmadhussein1995 21 hours ago

it wasn't a pen when u take a neet look

Jboi1414 21 hours ago

it also doesn’t help that Young is a player known to make a mess of any possible contact

alexmcg 21 hours ago

I would say shocking decision but it’s united benefiting against the team the EPL have tried to relegate for the past two seasons. If that’s the other way around there’s not a doubt that it would be given and not looked at by VAR. the league is becoming more of a farce by the week
