The #Saints & Derek Carr agreed on a 4-yr deal for $150M with $100M in total guarantees, per me & @MikeGarafolo. He gets $70M effectively fully guaranteed ($60M at signing, another $10M in Year 3 vesting after Year 1). Carr structures his deal to accommodate Saints’ cap issues. https://t.co/vs6qaBh7rg
are you this brain dead on purpose or did you have an accident?
not reading all dat
Only a loser gets offended by the word “retard,” toughen up man
Mickey Loomis is a genius. This is how you throw the season without being blatant about it. Welcome to your 5-12 season. Who Dat.
LOL all for them to go 5-12 😂😂😂
@saintsfan463 there’s always money in the banana stand
None of you seem to realize they’re also paying him away from the bucs, panthers and falcons, all places he could’ve potentially ended up, though a stretch. Saints also now the best team in division currently. You can say overpay but desean watson fucked up the entire market and it is what it is. Norm for a QB of any talent is gonna be 100+.. wait til you see what Daniel jones gets
If Derek was a car he would be a 2013 Toyota Camry SE
Billy Bob's 100% right ✅️
Common Saints L
You’re also paying to develop olave and see if MT has anything left. Carr a good bridge for 4 years. It costs 100 mil but wtf else you gonna do, team is too good to tank and division is yours now.
Saints prob saying to themselves it’s better than Darnold, Ridder and whoever the random bucs QB will be. 25 mil/year is not bad considering
Wtf you gonna save the money for 🤨
Good for Derek.
How come I can't find draft odds in any of the betting apps?
so u drafting olave first or nah?
Michael Thomas can come back now 😆
4 yrs of bad juju - bad voodoo on them Saints! Hahaha! Carr will choke once again. Jimmy G would of been a better pick.
Shaheed and Juwan 💰💰💰
Awful move overpaying for a below average starting quarterback who lacks leadership skills. Rebuilding would have made much more sense.
I’ll draft Carr as the backup to my top QB. That’s it. That’s if he’s available in last round. Lol.
You talkin about the same Jameis Winston who had just thrown 30 INTs in a single season (7th most in NFL history.) That's the most INTs in a season in the modern era, *since the 1970s! That's the guy we're discussing here? Straight Bum. His contract reflected his value. When Hill had finally got the nod to start the previous season he only lost 1 or maybe 2 games but he looked great but to be fair his passes weren't great because he was throwing with a broken throwing hand/ fingers the whole time! That's not to mention all the back, knee, & shoulder problems he was dealing with, after playing RB, & running Dive all season up to that point... When healthy, Hill has a Fn Canon! He's just never really been given the chance to shine out the gate. Out of the 19 passes he threw last yr, he only missed 6, & 2 of 19 were TDs. That's 148% passer rating... A Perfect Passer rating is 158% FYI
