Everyone knew Lance was inexperienced and that he'd need to sit a while to get up to NFL speed.

Sounds like the next day at training camp he’ll say, “Trey Lance might start week 1” and then, “I’ll be surprised if Trey Lance is not the starter” and on the last day of training camp, “Trey Lance is the starter.”

Dude just turned 21 a few months ago.

After this comment Trey Lance is starting. A few days ago he said that their was no competition at quarterback.

The buzz around camp is that he's progressing really quick and making better throws than Jimmy, but he's still making rookie errors.

But Jimmy threw two picks last practice. One to a sitting Fred Warner and the other was a 1 on 1. And after those picks, they say he looked like he was in a mental fog the rest of practice.

So, if things keep progressing like this, which would be very surprising, then Trey may start.

But we talking about practice.
