“Deshaun Watson officially has requested a trade from the Houston Texans, per league sources. He actually did it weeks ago. Their new head-coaching hire, David Culley, has not and will not alter Watson’s thinking.”
@MrKeeney for sure. i dont think watson will get too picky about his landing spot, i think more than anything he just wants out of houston rn
if they could work together to make a deal with a team tho thatd be the preferred easier route

Watson to Dallas Just reported
Stop capping @FantasyGenie
Houston gets prescot and a 3rd
Stfu @FantasyGenie
Thst ain’t enough 🤡
As for Deshaun Watson and Matthew Stafford, Lombardi was kind enough to provide the same post-trade salary-cap breakdowns. Watson would cost a new team $10.5 million, an absolute bargain for an elite passer. That makes him the most intriguing option of the three, assuming the 49ers are interested and can put together a tempting enough offer. "Teams like the 49ers that are up against [the salary cap], that's an opportunity that you salivate at," Lombardi told Mark Willard on Monday during a KNBR interview. "A chance to lower your cap hit at the quarterback position by about $15 million, going down to $10 million for Deshaun Watson, that allows you to build a team around him and go for a Super Bowl win in the short term while that roster is still capable, while that roster is still in the championship window." According to Lombardi, the more experienced Stafford would cost nearly twice the amount of Watson — about $20 million.

How does this affect Jason Witten?
Watson to XFL
That he asked to be traded last week and they still hired that placeholder of a head coach shows how much the Texans have given up.
NO for shizzle
If he's smart he'll go to a winning organization with pieces in play. The jets is another shitty organization as houston is. Who care how many 1st rd picks they got, look at the raiders
Carolina, if they didn’t have to trade DJ to get him
Jets have possibilities though
I'm not a jets fan but they could get him a first round wr and penei for his o line.
NFL is all I need. Best show on earth
As a niner fan, saleh is overrated surrounded by great players. Could never daily up the "big stoppage" in crucial moments and that cover 3/ zone defense is cringing
