they’ll probably just pay him. no solid replacement for special teams and was a productive back that led them deep into the playoffs.

@BAT He would cost atleast 3-4x what Mostert is being paid and 2x what Mostert was asking for and was denied. Why would you sign a guy that cost more, past his prime, is injury prone and was less efficient?

Paying mostert for this season alone wouldnt be an issue, its next year when the niners need to allocate as much space as they can to bring back kittle and trent williams with hefty raises and a decrease in the salary cap. Tevin was only signed to a 2 year deal so its a non issue for next year
