The Niners Coaching staff probably told him he wasn’t going to be the featured back, and that it will remain a committee. Thus the reason why he is requesting a trade. For all you fools that thought Mostert was a featured back at age 28, you should have your heads examined. He had a couple good games one against one of the worse run defenses in the NFL (Green Bay)
Devonta Freeman already knows the playbook if they need him. Sucks for Mostert but I don’t see him getting worthwhile snaps anywhere else.
