“#Browns TE David Njoku has requested a trade, per @AdamSchefter. The team wants to keep him, but Njoku is hoping for a trade before training camp.”
Almost all of the big contracts they have currently are on defense, but one of the biggest issues they have this season cap-wise is dead money. Nearly $27 million is money they've burnt either cutting or trading away players, which is all cleared by next season. That's when they'll have a whole lot more to work with.
You really have to give them credit, though, because pushing so much of the cap backwards to the point that they have the least amount of cap-space and one of the weakest rosters is exactly why they've been able to keep such stacked teams under the Brady/Belichick era. Now is when they're having to pay off all that credit.
HOU, NE, CHI, GB, WSH, HOU, with NO/CAR/ARI as sleepers
Redskins, Bills, Titans are my favorites to realistically snag him, both the Steelers and Bengals would be interesting options also, but an in-division trade is highly unlikely
Dolphins please make a move!!!!
Idk why but I can see him going to Cincy
Patriot's
@scheckleton 👍🏻

@Gridiron s
I think Tennessee would be a great fit!!!
Green Bay

He isn’t going anywhere
So the market fell to the Bears and they still over paid for Jimmy Graham

Pack. Ers... been saying they should look into him all offseason. He’s wasted in Cleveland and they just signed Hooper.
Packers waste every tight end they get. Not Rodgers MO
Please yes GB!
Packers haven't had a TE anywhere close to Njoku
Cook a few years ago, but he was a washed and dried version of himself
