“Lions GM says Stafford trade rumors are false https://t.co/jEoCDtWGxX”
Fucking regarded
Retarded*
To clarify, I’m not saying Dalton is better than Stafford, just that Stafford isn’t a big upgrade over Dalton and he’s certainly not worth the 1.01...
Riiight... The rumors probably became false only after the rest of the league laughed at the Lions for asking what they can get in return for Stafford
@scronin he is an upgrade over having the #1 pick hold out because he doesn’t want to go to a team that isn’t trying to win
Stafford is a fraud. Stats are very misleading.
@EddieMoney Burrow already came out and said he’d be excited to play in Cincy and he’s from Ohio ...he’s not holding out.
Stafford just isn’t worth a 1st round pick.
As a lions fan I’m just gonna say it, why would we want to do this, or why would anyone want Stafford that bad?
Is stafford a starter on 22+ teams, absolutely, but I don’t think he’s worth the pick, especially considering I think he will forever straddle the border of good and elite. Good isn’t good enough in pro sports. Everyone is a good player or they wouldn’t be there.
Not to mention oddly his weakness seems to be throwing a touch pass. He has one throw speed and it’s laser lmao.
I don’t know what u guys are saying. The lions offense was crazy with stafford. It was top 5. We have no defense. As soon as stafford left we had no offense. He can’t do every thing
Am I crazy or did sleeper tell us David Johnson was released like 2 weeks ago
Love me some Stafford. He’s a total hard ass and the best Lions QB ever. However, I’m not opposed to moving on. Time to take a shot on the next guy. Stafford is good enough to win a championship with a few teams in the league but dysfunctional Detroit is not one of them. Detroit needs to get their hands on a lottery ticket like Burrow/Tua this year or Lawrence next year and see if one of them are for real. A wise man once said that if you ain’t first, you’re last.
Stafford was way better with Calvin Johnson but he kind of stinks now but he’s still a cool stud with golladay
@Ramtelli we have had offensive line issues for years now. It’s a shame we can’t give stafford time to make reads and he isn’t mobile enough to just run lol.
I mean he isn’t like Brady slow, but he is not a rusher lol.
@Ramtelli Funny thing is I thought Stafford took a step forward when Calvin left and he started making decisions based on what the defense allowed. I’m not saying he was pressured into force feeding Calvin but it sure seemed like it at times. Losing Golden Tate was a tough blow.
