“The #Eagles are also expected to add former #Broncos OC Rich Scangarello to the offensive staff, source said. Another respected developer of QBs and a resource for Carson Wentz. https://t.co/F8nwhsljWz”
Just for thought, if you take away any of those top 5 qb's mentioned top 3 receiving targets... with the exception of brees, and Lamar, are they even a good qb? One answer for sure... dak is not a top qb
Mahomes, Russ(who I don’t think has ever had GREAT receivers), and Watson are all legit. Dak isn’t necessarily bad either(coming from an eagles fan) but he is protected by the Cowboys system. Take away the run game and he has shown what lies behind the curtain
Fair
Lamar's top 3 receivers are hollywood and a bunch of bumasses
Alshon would probably be the #1 on that team for at least the next two years
Brees and Rodgers would certainly fall down the pipe a little without the nelsons adams cooks or colstons of their time but they're perennial greats so they would've maintained top 5 play if not for anything else through brute force of talent
Lamar is not a real qb though. He attempts 20-25 passes a game and had one of the top10 touchdown per pass attempt years ever in the nfl. I'm just saying I would want wentz as my qb over most of those other qb over the next 5 years with everything around them being equal. Maybe a little homer bias but his stats in the superbowl run warrant him being elite when healthy.
Wentz like Mitch are overrated respectively in their own tiers
We’ve seen good qbs play better than wentz with equal or less weapons
Tom Brady made a career out of it until this year at 42
Eli Manning lol
Every QB for the redskins lol
Welp... that ends this discussion. Solid view points there nasty. Can't argue with that bulletproof logic
I mean to be fair lamar is definitely a real qb it's just a matter of if you can get 8 ypc on running you should never stop because there's only one possible bad outcome (fumble) versus two with passing (incomplete, interception)
Carson Wentz is the new Tony Romo
Romo > Wentz
@HaywoodJablomi5 maybe, but Romo was a lot tougher 🤣
How many resources can one who have? But it doesn’t matter because their o left for Indy with frank.
