Good on him to put his health first but it's probably too late, one too many concussions already. Especially after that one where he was crying and had no idea what century he was in.

Sad to see him walk away early. He could have been an all time great and is probably passing on the hall of fame unless he returns after a few years. I don't judge him though he probably has no choice.

That dude was a fearless monster flying around with reckless abandon on every snap! He is one of the most passionate and inspiring leaders I've ever witnessed in any sport at any level!! Thank you Luke Kuechly for being a role model for my children! It was an honor watching you play tackle football sir! My family and I wish you nothing but success! God speed. The Lineman family .

It’s tough to see guys go like that. You know the doctor is in his head saying don’t play your on your 4th or 5th concussion or whatever and he plays like he said strong and physical and was one of the best young guys to play that position. You didn’t wanna be hit by him

It's a damn shame Luke had to go this early. Another Hall of Famer lost early due to medical issues. The Panthers should bring him in as a coach once he's ready to return to football. It shouldnt be anytime soon because he might just see a couple of mistakes and immediately come out of retirement cause he can do better. But the real question is, how does this affect Marlon Mack?
