also, for the most part bears D was healthy for majority of the season. they really only had 1 major player have a major injury or an issue early. Roquan Smith... it wasn't until late that Callahan went on IR. You guys also lost a very good S in Amos and your Def Coord. I don't necessarily believe Bears D falls off. but it could be back end top 10. so 7-9 range.

if that happens Mitch has to step up to be in that top tier. which is why i can't put them there right now.

the d was healthy because we didnt play our preseason games. smith missed camp cause of contract and mack missed pre cause of well... contract until the trade. floyd is progressing and has a contract year. smith is on a geometric increase. hicks is always a really good d line player. mack should be healthy the whole year. we are a deep defense.

mitch has everything in place to be a top 10 qb this year. plus nagy saig he will be more risky. one stat the i heard the other day was the mitch has one of the worst passer ratings in the 1st/3rd quarters. but when it is down to 4 mins elft in the 2nd/4th he is best in the league. so the clutch gene is there lol, he just needs to step into his damn throws 😂😂

McCalfme... health is a fickle thing. you're only healthy till your not. The Jags had a similar healthy stretch in 2017 then saw major players miss significant chunks of time 2018... also i don't need all the deets, i'm very in tune with roquans situation... i do believe there are areas of improvement. I just wouldn't statistically bank on them.

and I agree Mitch has everything in place to be a top 10 QB. this isn't me doubting his talent. he just isn't there yet. which is why i can't place them in the top tier right now. if 5 weeks into the season, the D regresses but Mitch grows i'm happy to place them with the Rams and Saints. Also my list after Rams and Saints were in no particular order in case you were wondering. i have a lot of respect for how the Bears have been built.
