“Jalen Richard to lose 'good chunk' of catches https://t.co/veXbV54hKn”
In related news, Richard to lose “being on the Raiders”.
The Athletic's Vic Tafur expects Jalen Richard to lose a "good chunk" of his receiving work to rookie Josh Jacobs. As Tafur points out, Richard had been drawing Charlie Garner comparisons from coach Jon Gruden, but then Gruden went out and made Josh Jacobs the No. 24 overall pick of the draft before talking him up as a three-down back. Richard tied Jared Cook for the Raiders' 2018 team lead in receptions at 68, but even if Jacobs struggles, Richard's path to standalone fantasy value is looking dicey.
As a Raiders fan of 34 years, Jacobs is overrated. wasnt even the best RB at Bama
To who? Doug "Fartin" Martin?
@TheMightyJ10 yep that one fell to the pats in the 3rd round
Have they signed Jacobs already, or is he gonna hold out?
@kvnklly that's who I'll be Drafting instead
@kvnklly that was a steal. former #1 highschool prospect and Bama starter for 3 years
@Javvz they signed him
@sgearhart48 Thanks
yea its gonna be the josh jacobs show
i dont see any other rb on this team being relevant barring injury to jacobs
I didn’t realize he was catching 😂
Raiders are like that one white girl that steals your shit but will help you look for it
Yeah 68 catches last year was way more than I remembered for him.
How can you lose what you don't have?
@ILoveToKissTDs ummm he was 7th most catches for RBs in 2018
Gronk would’ve caught one more.
@KrakenSkulls I know that now. But he did it so under the radar I wouldnt have blinked if you told me this beforehand.
Theo Riddick West
Can confirm from experience, starting Richard WITH those catches was a mistake.
Its bc the Tightend is about to show out, plus any team that just acquired AB will see a downtic in receptions to any position
We knew this the moment they selected Jacobs
Well frick.
