“Per @SharpFootball, 42% of Bruce Arians' 2017 #Cardinals pass plays came in 4-WR sets. NFL average was ~ 5%. If Arians brings 4-WR sets to #Bucs, candidates to benefit = Breshad Perriman, Justin Watson & Scott Miller behind Mike Evans & Chris Godwin.”

You are cherry picking which stats to take in the context of this discussion and which to take out of it

i have not once cherry picked any stat. you say he's slower and then i provide proof that he's similarly as fast and you want to dismiss because it doesn't fit your narrative

Yeah, I'm not trying to find the one metric where he equals or surpasses any one player who is successful. I am looking at the whole package

DoctorLark 6 years ago

And on average, he's smaller, slower, and less athletic than the successful group

DoctorLark 6 years ago

Meaning his odds off success are probably lower.

@DoctorLark Why you giving me his profile page? I already done seen it.

not relative to TY Hilton, John Brown tho. and thats the point

DoctorLark 6 years ago

But he is. He's less athletic almost across the board than Brown and he's smaller than Hilton who is just as fast

DoctorLark 6 years ago

And Mike Wallace just blows him away

DoctorLark 6 years ago

And the other three were all day two picks while Miller was a 6th-rounder

DoctorLark 6 years ago

Easily the biggest outlier of that group if he succeeds

jlcon07 6 years ago

which is fine. but to dismiss simply on that when we have a record of similarly statured, speed, type players is irrational. does that mean justin watson has a higher chance to succeed. probably. that doesn't mean miller can't/won't or would even be an outlier primarily because of BAs trend with this style of player

DoctorLark 6 years ago

The record is similar only if you cherry pick

DoctorLark 6 years ago

There are a few similar trees in a forest that is largely different

jlcon07 6 years ago

his speed score marginally lower than TY, but he is same or better in other scores

jlcon07 6 years ago

how is that cherry picking

jlcon07 6 years ago

and again they have a 4.39 for TY which is what scotty ran at his pro day

jlcon07 6 years ago

you can adjust with the ~0.05 but that isn't the best base line

DoctorLark 6 years ago

Because you're cherry picking one player and ignoring the fact that one plays on the outside and one will play in the slot

jlcon07 6 years ago

and you're assumption is that scotty will play in the slot

DoctorLark 6 years ago

That's a rational assumption
