“#Cowboys are signing S George Iloka, source says.”

GhostFire 5 years ago

It just makes sense. By all reports, Richard was gone before the Rams game was even played.. and Jerry was able to retain Richard despite not giving him an official promotion? Add on top of that, when, Linehan was fired they internally promoted an OC... Which one is cheaper: hiring an outside OC or an outside QB coach?

GhostFire 5 years ago

So, next year Richard will be promoted to HC and he will build his coaching team up his way.

gbc 5 years ago

Well Richard is already DC for all intents and purposes. He called the plays last year though they wont admit it

Dan2mc 5 years ago

Feels kinda silly to just have Garrett as a lame duck HC with this young team

Dan2mc 5 years ago

If Richard's the guy then you'd want him in there asap I'd think wouldn't you?

Dan2mc 5 years ago

Esp if it's only a Lombardi that'd save the guy

GhostFire 5 years ago

It's all about publicity. If Garrett is fired, then it looks bad on Jerry. If Garrett is just not extended, then Jerry just looks like a man making a business decision necessary to move on.

Dan2mc 5 years ago

Does it look that bad tho? Garrett's mostly disappointed in his time in Dallas unless I've missed something

gbc 5 years ago

He had a 13-3 year and got robbed in playoffs

GhostFire 5 years ago

Two division titles in the last three years, including a playoff win.

gbc 5 years ago

Disappointing other than that tho

Dan2mc 5 years ago

It's a disappointing division tho

GhostFire 5 years ago

Is it? Three super bowl titles since 2007 and zero repeat division champions since 2003

Dan2mc 5 years ago

I mean recently

Dan2mc 5 years ago

You can't tell me the Giants and Redskins have been good the last 3 years

GhostFire 5 years ago

In two of the lat three seasons, the NFC East has fielded two playoff teams, including the 11-5 NY Giants.

Not to mention in the year betweens the division fielded the super bowl champs.

Dan2mc 5 years ago

Dayum, the 11-5 Giants were only 3 years ago

Feels like forever lol

Dan2mc 5 years ago

Wow

TheQubits 5 years ago

Right?

GhostFire 5 years ago

Also, the NFC East is the only division that is undefeated against Brady in the super bowl when playing against him multiple times.

gbc 5 years ago

Damn ghostfire out here spitting fire

Dan2mc 5 years ago

Idk, I still feel like the Cowboys should've been able to do more with the talent they've had
