I’m still not buying Russ… his D put him in favorable positions, and his receivers really stepped up with some circus catches. Not to mention, Jets D lost a lot of key secondary players. Still holding Fields for now.

Now we may see the wheels completely fall off with Russ, which isn’t unlikely. But unfortunately for fields he’s the back up until further notice.

Only issue is…when exactly will Russ face a true defense?…next 2 games are commanders and giants so we could really see him being inflated and overhyped only to crash and burn when he gets that ravens matchup

I personally think Fields is the future, just sucks that we could see Russ get an extended period of play simply because he got slapped into the right matchups at the right time to look good
